Beverly "Bev" Demery, 86 of Ft. Dodge peacefully departed from this world on March 18, 2024, at Grandview Health Care in Dayton, Iowa. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Washington Township Cemetery in Duncombe, Iowa.
She was born on October 5, 1937, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, where she spent her early years and created lasting memories.
Beverly's journey was adorned with various chapters, but her heart always sought joy in the simple pleasures of life. Remembered fondly for her days spent working outdoors at DeKalb's and Briggs State Park, she found solace in nature's embrace.
A woman of many talents and passions, Beverly found immense happiness in the company of loved ones. Her culinary skills were unmatched, as she delighted in cooking and baking for her family. The holidays were especially cherished by all who gathered at her house, reveling in the warmth of her hospitality. Gardening brought her tranquility, and every bloom was a testament to her nurturing spirit.
Beverly's true essence shone brightest in the love she held for her children and grandchildren. Their well-being was paramount to her, and she embraced every moment with them with unwavering tenderness. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her.
In Beverly's peaceful departure, she is reunited with her parents, husband Gordon, and son-in-law Craig Diehl. As we mourn her loss, we take solace in knowing that she now rests in eternal peace.
Those left behind to honor Beverly's memory are blessed by having been part of her journey. Her presence will be deeply missed by her children Gordon Jr., Kevin, Roxane, Cindy, Frances, Crystal; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; siblings John, Carol, Paul; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives she touched with grace and kindness.
