Brenda Louise Smith, 61, of Maxwell, Iowa passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. A visitation will be held at Fredregill Funeral & Cremation Care (107 North Main Street) in Baxter, Iowa, on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Santiago United Methodist Church in rural Mitchellville on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Brenda Willis officiating. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery in rural Mitchellville, Iowa.
