Deloris J. Clark, 90, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at the Zearing Health Care Center in Zearing. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Lincoln Township Cemetery in Zearing. Deloris was born in Zearing, Iowa, on March 16, 1935, to Wilton and Eva (Ruxton) Reese. She grew up in Zearing, where she attended Zearing High School and graduated with the class of 1953. Deloris married the love of her life, Larry Clark, on November 14, 1954, at the Zearing Christian Church. The couple moved to St. Anthony, where they began their family together. Deloris was a wonderful homemaker, wife, and mother to her family. In retirement, they moved to Shertz, Texas. After Larry passed, she moved back to Marshalltown to be closer to her Iowa family, as Iowa was always her home. Deloris was a member of the Zearing Christian Church. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, working with Larry in the greenhouses, and visiting her children. Those left to cherish her loving memory are her children, Kathy (JD) DeVette, Barb Clark, and Ron (Terri) Clark; grandchildren Jesse, Stetson, and Clay DeVette, Colton Clark, Zoe, and Sabine Clark; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; sister Jeanette Myers; many nieces and nephews; and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry, son Jimmy Clark, brothers Dick, Ronnie and Bob, sisters Margaret, Annice, Maylene, and Kay.
