Erma Elaine Fehring, 87, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at the Eldora Nursing & Rehab Center in Eldora. Visitation will be at 7pm Friday, Oct. 19 at Fredregill Funeral Home in Zearing. Funeral services will be 2:30pm on Saturday, Oct. 20, also at Fredregill Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Colo cemetery in Colo. Erma was born May 4, 1925 in Alderson, W. Va. To Ira & Ida (Kirby) Alderson. She married William Fehring on Feb. 23, 1950 in Hinton W. Va. Surviving Erma are three sons, Gary (Chris) Fehring, of New Providence, Iowa, Pete (Connie) Fehring of Mt. Moriah, Mo., David (Becky) Fehring, of Bethany, Mo.; 2 daughters, Linda (Gary) Fenneman, of Providence Village, Texas, Patricia Bohner, of Ames; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents & step father, Robert Riggs; her husband, William on April 27, 1989; one sister, Ruth Snell; and three brothers, Harold, Dennis and Jack Alderson.
