Kenneth "Kenny" Lynn Britson, 61, of McCallsburg, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Warren Township Cemetery in McCallsburg, Iowa with Pastor Chuck Ryan officiating. A celebration of life will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Dakins Community Center in Zearing, Iowa and a time of fellowship and refreshments will be held from2:30 - 4:00 p.m. Kenny was born in Story City, Iowa on September 6, 1961, to Rueben and Frances (Kvietkauskas) Britson. He grew up on the family farm in rural McCallsburg. Kenny graduated from NESCO High School with the class of 1980. Following school, Kenny farmed, a job that he loved so much. He loved spending time with his family and pranking them. He also loved to eat, especially hot dogs, Velveeta, and Spam. He also enjoyed socializing, politics, reading, anything related to history, and traveling to Florida. Those left to cherish his loving memory are his sisters Sandy (Ric) Lutz, and Linda (Bradley) Jones; nieces Emily (Jeff) Pennington and their children Jovin and Brynn, and Jessica Turek; nephews Brian Lutz and son Colby, Kevin (Tracie) Lutz and their children Kennedy, Izzy, and Chase, and Kasey (Brittany) Jones and their children Hadley and Brady; sister-in-law Cindy Britson. Kenny was preceded in death by his grandparents Edward and Isabelle Britson and Stanley and Anna Kvietkauskas, his parents Rueben and Frances, brothers Dennis and Eddie, and nephew Kyle Jones.
