Kourtney Kristine Duffy, age 33, passed away on Monday, October 7th 2019. Kourtney was born on June 14th, 1986 in Forest City, Iowa to Tammy Lynn Duffy. Kourtney graduated from High School in 2004 and went on to obtain her associates degree from Des Moines Area Community College. Kourtney is survived by her son; Braydon Immanuel Duffy, as well as her boyfriend (love of her life, best friend and partner in crime), Patrick (Lucky) Galvin. Kourtney is further survived by her brother, Immanuel J. Holman, aunts and uncles; Angela Christine (Duffy-O'Hara) and Chris Tarantino, Terrance Patrick and Paula Duffy; Kellie Jo (Duffy) and Tom Sullivan, cousins; Sean Patrick O'Hara, Laken Malyn Duffy, Jesse Lee Harms, Ethan Tarantino, and Trinity Christine Duffy. Kourtney is preceded in death by her mother; Tammy Lynn Duffy and grandfather; Michael John Duffy. Kourtney enjoyed baking and spending time with her family and friends. Kourtney, forever generous with her time and heart, was passionate about her volunteer work for the HIV/AID's Project and local homeless. Her proudest accomplishment was her son. Graveside Funeral services for Kourtney will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11th at the Newton Union Cemetery with Pastor Scott Jones officiating.
