He was born on November 14, 1971, in Corning, Iowa to Russell and Patricia (MacConnell) Travis. He grew up in Corning but in 8th grade his family relocated to Hopedale, Massachusetts. He loved spending time with his dogs Dottie and Bud, spicy foods, brewing wine and beer, cooking for family and friends, bodybuilding, cheering on his Nebraska Huskers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, collecting sports memorabilia, visiting sports museums, and spending time with all of his family and friends.
