Michael Andrews, 52, of Des Moines, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Fredregill Family Funeral Home in Baxter, Iowa. Burial will be at a later date in Millington, Tennessee. Michael was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 11, 1964 to Willliam and Barbara (Melton) Andrews. He attended Frazer High School and graduated in 1982. Following school he joined the Marines. After the service he relocated to Des Moines where he married Alice Richeson. Michael was a member of the VA. He enjoyed playing music on his guitar, which was a long life passion of his. Those left to cherish his memories are his children Adam Sisson, Mandy Andrews, and Becky Andrews; grandchildren Isabelle Sisson, Allison Sisson, Jacob Andrews, Jordan Andrews, Olivia Andrews, Jaxson Andrews, and Lucy Andrews; mother Barbara Andrews; brothers Butch (Michelle) Andrews, John Andrews, and Alex (Kristi) Olivette; sister Lisa (Scott) Thomas; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
