Robert Jean Garrison Sr.

Bob was born to Herbert Dwight Garrison and Evelyne Christine Pugh Garrison on February 7, 1941. Bob passed on July 28, 2026, at 5:20 pm at home surrounded by family.

He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed fishing and spent most of his free time fishing around Iowa. He worked all his life as a diesel mechanic and semi driver to support his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean VanZandt Garrison; his two oldest children, Robert Gene Garrison Jr. and Tammy Garrison; and two brothers, Kenneth Garrison and Harold Garrison.

He leaves behind his children Patty VanZandt (Bill Rolan), Jennifer Harris (Mike), Jeff Garrison (Mindi McConnell), Herbert Garrison (Jennifer), and grandchildren Tamara, Jerry, Lisa, Amanda, Victoria, Michael, Craig, Nick, Ivy, Iris, and Mark. As well as his sister DeEtta Joan Garrison Vonk (Russ)
