Rodney Ingle, 52, of Zearing, passed away peacefully and pain-free at UIHC in Iowa City on September 3rd. Fredregill Family Funeral Services has been entrusted with Rodney's care.

Rodney was born July 23, 1974, to Ronald and Janyce Ingle in Iowa Falls. He was a 1992 graduate of Iowa Falls High School, and received his bachelor’s degree in Business and Accounting from Upper Iowa University. He was the proud owner of Ingle's Tax Service for over 25 years and worked alongside his father for many years. Rodney was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and the San Francisco 49ers and rarely missed a game.

Rodney was married to Sara Mitchell in 2003 and was most proud of his children, Tanner, Sydney, Nathan, and Andrew.

Rodney is survived by his wife Sara, his son Tanner Ingle (Jordan) Seward, NE, daughter Sydney Ingle of Des Moines, stepsons Nathan Thompson (Carly) of Des Moines and Andrew Thompson (Stephanie) of Des Moines, sisters Sheila (Van) Fonken of Indiana, Shelley (Kevin) Kurtz of Georgia and brother Shannon (Farah) of Iowa Falls, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rodney is preceded in death by his parents, Ron and Janyce Ingle, one nephew, and several aunts and uncles.

The family would like to extend its utmost gratitude and love to the many doctors, nurses, and staff at the University of Iowa Hospital for their amazing care of Rodney and his family over the past 3 ½ months.
